Barometer
Economic and market data that represent an overall trend. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is an example of a stock market barometer.
Options contract multiple
A constant, set at 0, that when multiplied by the cash index value gives the dollar value of the stock indexunderlying an option. That is the dollar value of the underlying stock index = Cash index value x 0 (the options contract multiple).
Dividend payout ratio
